How it works:
The Pneumex Unweighted Treadmill is unlike any other piece of rehabilitation equipment. It can easily support weights
over 300 lbs and when used in conjunction with the Pneumex vest can be used to lift patients who otherwise are not able to
lift themselves.
The equipment takes a patients body weight off, but allows the patient to walk
and move freely. Its ability to remove pressure from the spine is equivalent to having patients doing pool exercises, but
without the hassle involved with having a pool. Furthermore, we can remove greater amounts of weight if needed.
We combine this with a high speed treadmill capable of going 30 miles per hour to enable patients to do strengthening
and muscle building activities that is appropriate for all skill levels, from starting to walk to high performance athletic
training.
The added security of the unweighted treadmill prevents potential falls and injuries
by catching a patient even if they were to stumble. This makes it perfect for elderly patients as well as patients with gait
or balance issues.
